What is ComAngle's recruitment process?

The first step is the selection of candidates who meet the requirements of a given position. We make the choice based on the CV and cover letter sent by you. We contact only the selected candidates to provide them with a remote test - its scope is adjusted to the position chosen by the candidate.

After examining the test results, the best candidates are invited for the interview. The first interview is preliminary, and the second interview is organized in order to check your qualifications.

The final stage of the recruitment process is the third interview - here we invite the candidates that have succeeded in all the previous stages of recruitment. During this interview we set strict conditions of cooperation and it is completed by signing the contract.

What should I prepare for an interview?

Depending on the position you're applying for, you can present us your previous achievements. For this purpose you can prepare a portfolio with your works and projects in which you participated.

We also encourage you to read our website before the interview - there you can find more details of our projects.

In addition, during the interviews we also conduct tests prepared in accordance with the position that you are applying for. We use language tests, as well as tests designed for programmers, graphic designers, testers and game designers. That is why during the interview we might want to check your qualifications.

How should I dress for an interview?

ComAngle does not have explicit requirements in terms of clothes - we want you to feel comfortable during the interview. In our office we prefer a style that might be called casual elegance.

Can I postpone the interview?

Once we determine the exact date, we prefer not to change it, but we understand that as a result of some unexpected situations, the candidate may not be able to attend the meeting.

In this case, please contact the person responsible for the recruitment process and together we will find a solution.

After I receive the proposal of employment will I have some time to decide whether I want to accept the offer?

Of course - after presenting the job offer, ComAngle gives the potential employee a specified number of days to consider the proposal.

Is higher education an essential condition to work for ComAngle?

The knowledge needed to move freely in the game industry is not a knowledge that you can find only in books, that is why it is difficult to develop it on your own. You can acquire the necessary skills during studies or professional courses.

To achieve an adequate degree of independence and creativity, it is worth to pay attention to developing practical skills.

Higher education is important to us, however, is not the only factor that is taken into account during the recruitment process. If you believe that you have the appropriate qualifications, despite the lack of higher education, you are invited to send us your application documents.

Is experience in a similar position essential to take part in the recruitment process?

Experience in a similar position is a big advantage, but if it is your first job, we can evaluate your skills on the basis of your portfolio or the results of recruitment tests.

Try to show us your skills and convince us that you are predisposed to work on the selected position.

Do you require fluent English skills from your future employees?

In our office we use Polish, however working on certain positions requires knowledge of English at a level that allows you to read technical documentation. Another thing is that conversations with clients are held in English. In out job offers we always inform you on the proficiency of English that is required.

In some cases of co-operation with foreign partners we may also require the knowledge of other languages ​​- it will always be specified in the job offer.

Is work at ComAngle associated with the necessity of traveling?

ComAngle has its headquarters in the United States, Szczecin and Warsaw, but each of the offices is an independent entity and the employees are not required to travel between the company's locations.

What are the features that should characterize a person applying for a position at ComAngle?

Regarding our prospective employees we value interpersonal and communication skills. We expect a high level of creativity, independence and initiative.
Another essential features include the ability of effective time management, reliability and punctuality. It is also necessary not to become nervous too easily.

Is there a possibility of professional development and taking part in trainings?

We provide our employees with the most attractive development opportunities. We organize trainings or send our employees to workshops and trainings organized by other units.

Each person employed by ComAngle receives three free days a year, which are meant for the development of skills through participation in trainings.

Do employees have fixed working hours?

Flexibility of working hours depends on the position. There is a possibilityy of adjusting the working hours to other duties of the employee, but it depends on many factors, such as the difficulty level or stage of development of the current project.

Do employees have fixed set of responsibilities?

What about the location of work?

Depending on their position, we give our employees a choice of a location that is appropriate for them. You can work remotely or in one of our modern and air-conditioned offices.

Does your company employ many people?

We work in cameral conditions as we employ approximately forty people. ComAngle makes sure to create a team in which everyone has clearly defined roles, so that no one is anonymous.
